A little clarity.
Where can I use KlarNotes?
KlarNotes is available on iOS for iPhone and iPad, and on the web. There is no Android app for now. The native app requires iOS 17 or later.
Can I use it for free?
Yes. Local notes are free and need no account. Sync is optional and requires an account and a paid Apple subscription. Available plans and prices are shown in the iOS app before you purchase.
Will signing in upload my local notes?
No. Your local library and synced library are separate. Signing in or subscribing does not automatically upload or move your local notes.
Are all features the same on iOS and web?
Both support writing and checklists. The iOS app adds nested folders, cards or rows, and photo import and viewing. Folders stay on the device where you organize them. The web editor preserves photos in synced notes as placeholders; view those photos in iOS.
How do I keep a backup?
Use Export in Settings. On iOS, a library with photos exports as a ZIP; notes without photos export as JSON. Local data can be lost when you delete the app, clear browser data, or lose your device. Export a copy before making those changes.
